2007 Track  Champion: Roger Frakes Street Stocks are factory-produced former V-8 passenger cars that have now been converted into racing “stock cars,” but retain the factory chassis and steel bodies. Several performance enhancements, and consequently more expensive parts, are allowed in this division than in the similar-appearing Hobby Stocks. More sophisticated and powerful motors with 4-barrel carburetors, and suspension “weight-jackers” for adjusting chassis crossweight are permitted in this division.
